We get it
You’re three days into the conference and you’ve been on your feet for most of that time. Your face hurts from smiling at strangers all day, and your shoulder is sore from carrying all that swag that you collected from the trade show hall. Frankly, all you want to do is kick off your heels, put on some sweat pants, sink into your freshly-made bed, and unfocus your eyes at whatever’s on the TV.
We got you covered.
Whether you’re looking for a quality meal or stocking up on snacks for your hotel room or your road trip home, you’re spoiled for choices.
Heinen’s Grocery, Downtown Cleveland
Yeah, we know what it sounds like. You just traveled halfway across the country for an international conference, and we’re telling you to check out our… grocery store? Hear us out.
With just a 10-minute walk away from the conference venue, Heinen’s downtown grocery is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch or pick up some food to sneak back into your hotel room. Located on the corner of E. 9th and Euclid inside the breathtaking Cleveland Trust Rotunda Building.
In the center of the Rotunda is Heinen’s café. Treat yourself to a piadina wrap or spicey tuna poke, prepared right before your eyes. If you’re feeling like eating healthy, look no further than the unrivaled salad bar, with a dizzying assortment of greens, vegetables and toppings. Maybe you’ll just grab a quick sandwich from the deli. Or maybe you just want to find a quiet table, take 10 minutes and eat a bag of chips that you don’t have to share with anyone. That’s cool too; we don’t judge.
Located on the edge of Cleveland’s Warehouse District, Constantino’s Market is a gem of a store. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or cup of coffee, this family-owned store is a favorite place of Ohio Lottery employees. If you’re planning on exploring the Warehouse District during your stay, Constantino’s is the perfect place to pick up some supplies. It’s just about a 12-minute walk from the conference venue.
West Side Market
A shining gem on the outskirts of Downtown Cleveland. The foundation upon which the historic Ohio City district was built. Feel the old world come alive at the West Side Market. It’s been in continuous operation for more than 100 years, and has more than 100 independent operators and vendors.
When you first walk in, you might think you accidentally walked into a train station, or maybe a supervillain’s lair. No worries, you’re in the right place.
Be prepared for all your senses to be assaulted. With the blinding array of fruits and vegetables, the savory aromas of smoked meat, cheese, freshly-baked bread, the sounds of vendors hawking their wares, it’s sensory overload. You’ll be rubbing shoulders with the locals and sampling all the foods. It all adds up to the beautiful chaos that’s the West Side Market. Take a minute and find the stairs that go up to the balcony overlooking the market.
